These tech-free zones—whether it’s the dinner table, Saturday mornings, or even just the 20 minutes before bedtime—create calm, invite connection, and remind our preschoolers that family time comes first.

Leave phones in another room and turn off the TV. Encourage your preschooler to share their “rose and thorn” (best part and hardest part) of the day. It builds language skills, keeps them talking, and reminds them that mealtimes are about connection, not distraction.
No Screens in the Playroom:
